PERSONAL JOURNEY

A somewhat unorthodox career path saw Claire set out with dreams of being an artist. Her studies in fine art, followed by a postgraduate in 'Arts Administration', led her to work for several non-profit arts organisations, including The Arts Council of England, The Crafts Council, ENGAGE and one of London's most treasured museums, The Wallace Collection.

From fund-raising and managing corporate events (a critical fund raiser) at The Wallace, Claire was coaxed over to the corporate world, where she spent eight years at BP plc.. There she ran corporate events for the company's senior leadership team, and later oversaw communications and employee engagement for its global employee recognition and brand awareness programme, The Helios Awards.

In 2009, Claire and her family made the bold and life changing move to the Alps, where for the past 11 years she has worked as a communications consultant for a Geneva-based agency.

Today she continues to express her creativity through creative writing, sketching and painting. Her other great loves are sports and the outdoors, and cooking. If you can't find Claire at home she (and her beloved dog) will probably be out in the mountains trail running, open water swimming in lake Annecy, cycling the cols, or skiing in the winter months. Never does she waste a moment not appreciating the surroundings and local culture of her adopted home.
